Bring at least 40 business cards. During the meeting, your business cards will be passed around the room for members and visitors to take. Plan for your 45 Second Introduction: your name, the name of your business and a little bit about your business and who invited you.

Please plan to arrive 6.30-6.45am. This allows time to complete your registration and to meet some of the members before the meeting commences. While brief, this is a great opportunity to network.

The formal part of the meeting runs from 7am until 8.30am, during which you will get to hear a 45-second introduction from each member, a 10 minute presentation from one member about their business, and you will also get to hear about the chapter’s performance.

The meeting will commence with initial formalities, after which each member will present a concise 45-second business pitch. Following this, an opportunity will be extended to all visitors, including yourself, to do the same. When your name is called, please stand and deliver your 45-second business introduction. Remember, everyone in the room has been in your shoes before, so take a moment to relax, breathe, and know that everyone present is genuinely interested in learning about you and your business.

Towards the end of the meeting, you will again be invited to share your thoughts on the meeting. A brief comment on what you enjoyed about the meeting would be appropriate to deliver at this point.
